Introduction The Status bar displays the status of the green screen parameters like cursor position etc. It can be enabled/disabled by Users at the client side, but Administrators can set the status bar value globally for all sessions to control Users from enabling/disabling the Status bar on the client side. The Admin can use isStatusBarEditableByAdmin and enableStatusBarForAll parameters in the web.properties file to set the global value. Valid values for these parameters are True/False.
Note: o The modified parameter values from the web.properties file will be picked only after the browser page is refreshed. o Changes made at the client side are stored in the browser’s storage until the browser history is cleared. Flow of Events Below is the procedure to show/hide the Status Bar :
o If the Admin does not define the enableStatusBarForAll value in web.properties file, by default, the status bar is in disabled state. o If the Admin does not define the isStatusBarEditableByAdmin value in web.properties file, by default, the status bar checkbox remains unlocked.
