Product Documentation Abstract This document contains a brief description of the new and updated features in the IBM HACP Extended Edition v1.7 release. Content HACP Extended Edition v1.7 is available with the following new features:
Save User configuration for HTML model pages User changes to the session configurations (like session properties, key remap, color remap etc.) are saved in the browser’s cache. Note: If an administrator has unlocked the session properties while creating a session, then, Users can edit the session properties. Asynchronous Submit and Auto-Refresh of Host Screen Host data is sent to the server asynchronously and updated on the client without refreshing the terminal screen. The Host screen changes are queried at regular intervals and the terminal screen is updated accordingly without any user intervention. The default refresh interval is 5 seconds, it can be configured to a lesser interval in HACP EE Settings panel. Key Type-Ahead / Key Buffering Enables the user to enter keystrokes in an emulator session while input is inhibited; keystrokes are buffered and processed later when the input-inhibited condition is removed. Buffered keystrokes are purged if users press the keys: reset, sysreq, help, attention, or enterreset. Note: By default, this feature is enabled, but while playing a macro, it is disabled.
